The True Meaning of Friendship..

everything and everyone I had ever trusted in wiped
out in once instance with a lie from someone I loved, and the
betrayal of someone posing as a friend.
I do not know if I will or ever can call another a
friend, and mean it honestly again.
In recent days, I was reminded by someone
I had turned away from what the true spirit of friendship is.
It is someone who seems to turn up when your hurting the most,
who reaches out, and believes in you. Who doesn't remember
past hurts inflicted on them if you've turned away.
Who seems to be able to pick up where the two of
you left off, as if nothing has ever come between you.
It is someone who excepts you as you are, faults,
insecurities, flaws, simply because you are you.
This page is dedicated to true friendship.
All are welcome here, and encouraged to share friendship
while on this page.
All I ask of you is that you never enter if you have ever
had betrayal in your heart, or on your hands. That it not be used as a place
of deceit or betrayal.
Please remember that this is my memory, my legacy, and my ghost
that will reside here. All I ask is that it be honored
with friendship in my memory, and that no friendship be
betrayed on this page, that no friendship be used for gain,
but as it was meant to be. For it is the TRUE spirit of friendship
that ensures you are never alone...
